Instruments that belong to you.
Nordis designs custom business software to track your customers, records and operations.
We build it with your team, around the way it works. You own the entire custom project.
We start with the way you work.
Who receives the request? Who decides? Where is the information? We look at your roles, data and constraints before choosing functions.
Your team defines the need with us. It does not have to fit a standard subscription.
A request should not lose its thread.
Illustrative example, not a client project.Today, in this example: an email, a spreadsheet, then a reminder someone has to keep in their head.
With an adapted tool: one record holds the context, the person responsible and the next action. The team knows where to pick up.
The work determines the functions.
Customer tracking to find past conversations. An internal tool to assign tasks, request approval and track records.
A useful view of what is waiting. We choose the functions you need together, rather than a catalogue you have to use in full.
Less copying between your tools.
An approved step can create the next task. Information can move to a tool you keep without being entered again.
We check access and connection options. Some software needs to stay; not everything can be replaced or automated.
$10,000 in tools to examine.
Illustrative budget assumption, with no assumed time period. This fictional budget asks a question: which scattered subscriptions pay for functions your custom tool could bring together?
We examine your actual spending and what can be removed. This amount is neither your assumed budget nor promised savings.
Savings need to be checked, not assumed.
Cancelled subscriptions represent possible gross savings. The paid initial build and migration also need to be counted.
Hosting, retained services, maintenance and changes count toward net savings and the break-even point. Custom software is not cost-effective in every situation.
You try it before we build it all.
Discovery and scoping establish the need, functions and limits with you. A prototype lets the team try the workflow.
We build, validate work scenarios with the team, then prepare setup and handover.
You own the entire project.
The source code specific to your project, its custom configurations and documentation belong to you. You control your data and access.
You can take over the project, host it elsewhere and have another team develop it further.
You receive what you need to take over.
We hand over the source, project configurations, documentation and deployment instructions. Access is handed over through the project’s authenticated mechanisms, never through this website.
Handover prepares your team or another team to take over. No mandatory dependency on Nordis holds your project back.
You pay for the build. Not a Nordis subscription.
Construction and setup are a defined, paid project. After delivery, there is no Nordis subscription or hidden Nordis usage royalty.
Hosting remains a cost. Support and changes are separate work; their terms and any outside fees are stated.
Your project, with known dependencies.
An open source component keeps its licence. An outside service keeps its terms and fees. We identify these dependencies before the project.
That does not reduce your ownership of the custom code. It is not a promise to transfer ownership of a framework or an outside account.
Let’s start with the work you do.
Choose a process that causes rework, duplicate entry or missed follow-ups.
Describe it without sensitive data. The brief helps prepare the conversation, without commitment.
